CareSafer™
Neuroinclusive & Neuroaffirmative
Primary Care
Learning & Quality Improvement Program
CareSafer™
Neuroinclusive primary care. Safer healthcare experiences. Better systems.
CareSafer™ is the Neurodiversity Change Foundation’s (NCF) primary care training and quality improvement initiative designed to support more neuroinclusive, accessible, and responsive care for neurodivergent adults.
Many neurodivergent patients face significant barriers in healthcare, including communication mismatch, sensory overwhelm, diagnostic overshadowing, fragmented care, and difficulty accessing appropriate accommodations.
These barriers can contribute to delayed care, distress, mistrust, and avoidable emergency department use.
CareSafer™ supports primary care teams to make practical, measurable improvements in how care is delivered.
