EmploySafer™ Program

EmploySafer™ is NCF’s structured approach to reducing preventable harm experienced by neurodivergent employees by redesigning workplace systems, policies, and practices.

Neurodiversity 101 serves as the entry point to EmploySafer™.

It establishes the shared language, conceptual grounding, and practical awareness required before organizations engage in deeper work across the full EmploySafer™ framework, which includes:

  • Inclusive Job & Work Design

  • Policy, Process & Structural Change

  • Leadership & Culture

  • Measurement, Learning & Continuous Improvement

Applying inclusive design principles to roles, workflows, meetings, performance expectations, and schedules.

4. EmploySafer™: Policies, Processes & Psychological Safety

Reviewing and adapting HR, performance management, and workplace policies to reduce harm and unintended exclusion.

5. EmploySafer™: Leadership for Neuroinclusive Systems

Equipping leaders and managers to recognize system-level barriers and lead neuroinclusive change.

6. EmploySafer™: Measuring Impact & Continuous Improvement

Identifying indicators, feedback loops, and evaluation approaches to track progress and adapt over time.

7. EmploySafer™: Custom Systems Review or Pilot

A tailored engagement to assess organizational risk points and co-design neuroinclusive solutions aligned with EmploySafer™ principles.

Designing Neuroinclusive Accommodation Pathways in British Columbia Canada:


Enhancing Workforce Safety through Neurodiverget Accessibility

A collaborative proposal has been submitted with UBC Department of Occupational Health and Occupational Therapy and NCF. This exploratory research project proposes to develop and test a system-level, prevention and rights-oriented accommodations framework that shifts responsibility from individual workers to organizational design. More to come.
